ABOUT TRANSITION SWIMMING

Hi, my name is Robert Milne and I live in Peebles, in the Scottish Borders.  I was a competitive swimmer as a child, swimming for two hours every morning before school until I lost interest around fourteen.   In my mid-thirties I started doing adventure races and triathlons and that led me back again to swimming.  Since then I've been training in the pool with the local masters and triathlon clubs.

I've also been in love with open water swimming,  swimming all seasons in local lochs and reservoirs for more than ten years. I have completed many endurance events and have swam in some beautiful places around the world.  For the last five years I've been a convert to skins swimming (no wetsuit, only trunks) and l love to embrace the cold water.  After long career in IT, sitting in front of a computer screen, I decided in 2021 to help others experience the joy of swimming.

Whether you’re a beginner or you’re looking for the perfect place to hone your skills, I’m here to provide you with structured lessons to quickly get you feeling confident in the water and swimming more effectively.

My classes offer the exciting opportunity to play, train, and experience the water like a master. Whatever your mood, there’s nothing that a swim can’t fix.
